Summary

Learning Support Assistant

Location: Farnborough
Hours: Monday to Friday, term time only
Pay: £14.25 per hour

We are seeking to appoint Learning Support Assistants to join a specialist school in Farnborough with an immediate start available. These settings support pupils with a range of Special Educational Needs (SEN), including Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), complex learning difficulties, communication needs, and physical or medical requirements.

Both schools provide structured, supportive environments where staff work collaboratively to promote pupils' academic progress, independence, and overall wellbeing.

As a Learning Support Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting pupils' learning, development, and day-to-day needs. This is a varied and rewarding position that requires patience, adaptability, and a proactive approach.

Key responsibilities include:

Providing 1:1 and small group support in line with individual learning plans

Assisting teachers in delivering and adapting lessons to meet a range of SEN needs

Previous experience in SEN is desirable but not essential. Full training, guidance, and ongoing support will be provided.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
