Join a Fast-Moving Automotive Team
We are looking for an experienced and motivated Master Technician to join our busy and well established car sales. This is a hands-on role for someone who takes pride in high standards, works efficiently under pressure, and can keep the workshop running.
About the Role
As a Master Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, servicing, and preparing a wide range of vehicles for retail sale and customer delivery. You will play a key role in maintaining vehicle quality, supporting junior technicians, and ensuring workshop productivity stays at full throttle.
Key Responsibilities
Carry out servicing, maintenance, and repairs on a variety of vehicles
Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults using diagnostic equipment
Complete vehicle health checks and pre-delivery inspections
Ensure all vehicles meet safety and quality standards before sale
Support and mentor junior technicians where required
Maintain accurate job records and workshop documentation
Work efficiently to meet deadlines in a high-volume environment
Follow all health and safety procedures
Requirements
Proven experience as a Master Technician or Senior Vehicle Technician
Relevant automotive qualifications (Level 3 NVQ or equivalent preferred)
Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
Experience working in a busy environment
MOT licence preferred but not essential
Full UK driving licence
Excellent attention to detail
