Connect Appointments is recruiting Mechanical Assembly Operators to join the UK's leading manufacturer of specialist temperature-controlled and bespoke commercial vehicles, based at their Dunfermline facility.
Our client is a long-established, family-owned business with over 65 years of engineering excellence and a strong reputation for quality and innovation across the commercial vehicle industry.
What's on offer?
- Full-time permanent position
- Monday to Friday, 8am to 4:30pm - early finish on Fridays
- Up to £41,500 per annum - dependent on experience
- Overtime and bonuses available
- 33 days holiday per year
As a Mechanical Assembly Operator, your duties will include:
- Assembling mechanical components to engineering specifications using hand and power tools
- Performing quality checks throughout the assembly process and resolving build issues
- Reading and interpreting engineering drawings accurately
- Collaborating with other departments to improve build flow
- Maintaining accurate build records and a clean, safe work environment
To be considered as a Mechanical Assembly Operator, you will need:
- Experience in mechanical assembly or coachbuilding
- The ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality
- A team-focused approach with good problem-solving skills
- Basic IT skills for job tracking
