The GORSE Academies Trust is seeking to recruit an exceptional and inspirational Lead Health & Safety Advisor to join our team. This role is pivotal to our ongoing success, ensuring our academies are safe, compliant and thriving environments where both students and staff can achieve their very best.

As our Lead Health & Safety Advisor, you will play a key strategic and operational role, supporting the Health & Safety Manager to drive excellence across the trust. You will provide expert advice, lead on compliance and audit activities, and champion a proactive health and safety culture across all academies. From analysing data and managing incidents to influencing policy and delivering training, your impact will be felt at every level of our organisation.

Who we’re looking for:

We are looking for a motivated and highly skilled professional who:

• Holds a NEBOSH General Certificate (or equivalent) and has strong practical knowledge of health and safety legislation.
• Demonstrates excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and support a wide range of stakeholders.
• Has strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with experience of interpreting data and producing clear, impactful reports.
