Quality Engineer – Worcester | 40hrs/week, Day Shift

Are you a quality-focused engineer who thrives on precision, problem-solving, and making an impact? Join a dynamic, innovative team shaping the future of fluid-flow technology. Work on cutting-edge projects, ensure every product is flawless, and push quality standards to the next level.

Your Mission:

  • Lead inspections: incoming, in-process, and final checks to ensure top-tier quality.
  • Oversee NDT testing (VT, PT/MT, RT/UT) and close findings efficiently.
  • Maintain full traceability of materials, welding, and electrical components.
  • Create and manage ITPs, weld maps, quality plans, and NCRs.
  • Drive continuous improvement: analyze defects, reduce rework, and improve manufacturability.
  • Coach and mentor the team on inspection criteria, safety, and testing best practices.
  • Interface confidently with clients and third-party inspectors, managing hold/witness points professionally.

What You Bring to the Table:

    • Hands-on experience in mechanical/electromechanical fabrication or modular plant construction.
    • Ability to read P&IDs, isometrics, GA drawings, electrical schematics, and datasheets.
    • Skilled in precision measurement, pressure testing, torque, and basic electrical testing.
    • Knowledge of welding quality, NDT methods, and ISO 9001 QMS.
    • Strong communicator—shop floor and client-ready.

      Extra Points If You Have:

      • Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Manufacturing Engineering.
      • Six Sigma Green Belt or experience with SPC/CAPA.
      • Familiarity with PED/UKCA, ASME B31.x/EN piping codes, ATEX, and BMS/I/O FATs.
      • Experience in aerospace or automotive industries—a major advantage!

        Why You’ll Love This Role:

        • Work on mission-critical projects where quality makes all the difference.
        • Be part of a collaborative, forward-thinking team.
        • Opportunities for personal growth, mentoring, and career progression.
        • Your impact will be visible every day, from shop floor to client approvals.

          Success Metrics You’ll Own:

          • First-pass yield, NCR closure lead time, punch-list burn-down, leak-free pressure tests, and CAPA effectiveness.

            Tools You’ll Use:

Autodesk/Inventor/Plant 3D | Navisworks | Office 365 | calibrated gauges | torque tools | multimeters | insulation testers | modern QMS systems (EtQ, Intelex, Jira)
