Location: Worcestershire
Contract: Full-time, long-term

Paragon Education is recruiting an experienced and confident Higher Level Teaching Assistant to work across a range of schools in Worcestershire. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to take on more responsibility within the classroom while supporting high-quality teaching and learning.
You will be working closely with teachers and leadership teams, delivering lessons, supporting pupil progress, and helping to maintain a structured and engaging learning environment.
What the role involves:
Leading whole-class sessions in the absence of the teacher
Supporting lesson delivery across different subjects and year groups
Working with small groups to provide targeted intervention support
Assisting with planning and preparation of learning activities
Monitoring pupil progress and providing feedback to teaching staff
Supporting classroom management and maintaining a positive learning environment
What you’ll need:
HLTA qualification or equivalent experience
Previous experience working within a school setting
Confidence in leading a class and delivering lessons
Strong communication and organisational skills
Ability to adapt across different subjects and age groups
A commitment to safeguarding and promoting pupil wellbeing
