We are seeking an experienced SEN English Teacher to join a brand new supportive independent school. You'll lead lessons, manage behaviour, and support pupils of all abilities, helping them thrive in a positive, inclusive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
· Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated English lessons for Key Stage 3 and 4 pupils
· Maintain a calm, structured, inclusive classroom that promotes learning and positive behaviour
· Support pupils' academic, social, and emotional development across the school day
· Adapt quickly to new settings following school routines and individual support plans
· Assess progress and provide feedback, collaborating with colleagues to support learning
Requirements:
· Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
· Experience teaching in UK schools
· Strong classroom management and communication skills
· Flexible, adaptable, and confident working across year groups/subjects
· Enhanced DBS (on Update Service) required prior to starting
