About the Role
We are currently seeking a reliable and experienced Class 2 Driver to join our team, delivering plant machinery including diggers, dumpers, and other equipment to various sites. This is a hands-on role that requires not only driving skills but also a good understanding of plant machinery and safe loading/unloading practices.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver and collect plant machinery safely and efficiently to customer sites
Load and unload equipment using appropriate methods and securing techniques
Carry out daily vehicle checks and basic maintenance
Ensure all deliveries are completed on time and paperwork is accurate
Provide excellent customer service when interacting with clients on-site
Adhere to all road transport and health & safety regulations
Requirements
Valid Class 2 (Category C) driving licence
Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
Previous experience transporting plant machinery (e.g. diggers, dumpers)
Basic knowledge of plant equipment operation and safety procedures
Good communication skills and a professional attitude
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
Desirable (but not essential)
Plant operator tickets (e.g. CPCS or NPORS)
