About the Role

RecruitED People are currently recruiting confident, resilient and proactive Behaviour Mentors to support pupils within SEN schools, alternative provisions and mainstream schools across Birmingham and the West Midlands.

This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about supporting young people and helping students overcome behavioural, emotional and social barriers to learning.

As a Behaviour Mentor, you will work closely with students who may display challenging behaviours, emotional dysregulation or disengagement from education, supporting them to positively re-engage within the classroom environment.

Modern schools increasingly need staff who can build relationships, de-escalate difficult situations and remain calm under pressure. Which is another way of saying schools now need equal parts educator, mentor, counsellor and hostage negotiator before first break.
