Why you should join our Team The successful applicant must hold a current NMC registration; have excellent communication skills, team work and a passion for delivering the highest standard of nursing care. You will be joining enthusiastic and forward moving service. This is a full time role Band 6 who will have an opportunity to work only week days and enjoy time off on weekend and bank holidays. Experience within these areas are necessary and you will have the opportunity to further develop and learn new nurse-led specialist clinics, including Anaesthetic clinic through our comprehensive training programme, enabling you to complete all aspects of the patient’s journey. We will provide you with full training and support whilst you are in the post to achieve this. For more information please contact: Clinical Nurse Specialist: john.toolan@nhs.net Tel :0113 2067120 What you will bring to the role Criteria: Registered Nurse (RN Adult for adult clinical areas or RN Child for children’s areas (Level 1 or 2) Recognised teaching/assessing qualification or equivalent experience of teaching and assessment Willing to undergo training as necessary Evidence of continued professional development Post registration qualification in specialty (desirable) Current issues in healthcare Significant and recent relevant experience working as a Band 5 Staff Nurse or equivalent post registration experience within speciality. Experience of clinical audit and standard setting (desirable) Ability to organise and prioritise own and other’s workload.
