Pay Rate: £12.89 per hour

About the Role
We are currently recruiting for a Clerical / Administrative Officer to join a busy resourcing team within a large public sector organisation. This is a junior-level role that plays a key part in maintaining business continuity during a period of high demand.
You will provide essential administrative support, ensuring day-to-day operations run smoothly and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage shared inboxes and respond to queries in a timely manner
- Provide general administrative support, including record keeping and meeting coordination
- Support day-to-day business processes and ensure tasks are completed accurately and on time
- Carry out data entry, tracking, and reporting using internal systems and spreadsheets
- Liaise with internal stakeholders to chase actions and collate information
- Maintain logs and documentation to support team activities
- Assist with ad hoc administrative tasks as required
Skills and Experience Required
Essential
- Strong IT skills, particularly in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Good organisational and time management abilities
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Confident using digital systems and learning new processes
- Previous administrative experience
Desirable
- Customer service experience
Candidates without direct admin experience may still be considered if they demonstrate strong Microsoft Office skills and a willingness to learn.

Working Pattern
- Hybrid working: 60% office based / 40% working from home
- Initial training period will require full-time office attendance (dependent on location)
Additional Information
- Interviews will be conducted via Microsoft Teams (30 minutes)
- Basic DBS clearance required prior to start (provided by Brook Street)
