Summary
About the Position
Newcastle upon Tyne sits at the heart of the North East's industrial corridor, with the River Tyne historically serving as one of England's most significant commercial waterways. Today, the region supports a broad range of offshore energy, marine logistics, and port operations — and demand for dependable, practically minded support staff continues to grow.
We're currently recruiting an Offshore Logistics Operative to join an established supply chain team supporting offshore installations from the North East. This is a physically active, operationally focused role — and if you've spent time in a warehouse, yard, or on a busy industrial site, the skills you've built will serve you well here.
What the Role Pays & Offers
Salary sits at approximately £4,800 – £6,200 per month. That figure includes your base pay, offshore living allowance, and any applicable bonuses — so what you see is a realistic picture of your monthly earnings.
Rotation: 2 weeks on / 2 weeks off — fixed and consistent
Accommodation: Full onboard accommodation included for the duration of each hitch
Meals: All food provided offshore — no expenses to worry about
Travel: Fully coordinated from Newcastle to your offshore installation
Training: Comprehensive onboarding and role training from day one
Your Responsibilities
Receiving, checking, and organising incoming equipment and materials
Picking, packing, and preparing supplies for offshore dispatch
Supporting vessel load-out and offload operations alongside the logistics team
Keeping accurate records of stock movements and delivery documentation
Maintaining safe, tidy storage areas in line with offshore operational standards
Are You the Right Fit?
No offshore background needed — we're interested in your attitude and your ability to work reliably under pressure. Candidates coming from construction, transport, warehousing, manufacturing, or general labouring are all well-placed for this role.
You'll need to be physically fit, comfortable with 14-day rotations away from home, and the kind of person who takes safety seriously and gets on with the work.
Safety & Certification
All offshore personnel must meet mandatory safety standards prior to deployment.
OSR-1 Validation: Every applicant is required to complete the OSR-1 (Offshore Safety Readiness) assessment as the first stage of our selection process. This online validation confirms that you have the foundational safety awareness needed before joining an offshore team.
BOSIET Sponsorship: Candidates who progress through our selection process will be fully sponsored for BOSIET certification. All practical safety training — including emergency response and survival procedures — is arranged and funded by the company.
How to Apply
Submit your application through our official recruitment portal, ensuring all information is accurate and complete. Applications submitted outside the portal may not be processed.
Candidates based in Newcastle upon Tyne, Gateshead, and the wider Tyne and Wear area are encouraged to apply — local applicants are well-positioned for this role.
