Registered Veterinary Nurse – Part-Time

Location: Near Saffron Walden
Salary: £30,000 FTE
Hours: 2 Days Per Week (Ideally Wednesday & Thursday, 8:30am–7:00pm)
Flexible Additional Hours Available

This is an ideal role for an experienced veterinary nurse seeking a stable two-day working week with no weekend commitments, while still enjoying a varied and rewarding caseload. Additional shifts and holiday cover are available for those looking to increase their hours.

Role Highlights

    The Role

    This is a hands-on nursing role covering all aspects of first opinion veterinary nursing, including:

    • Surgical nursing and anaesthesia monitoring
    • Assisting with routine and advanced procedures
    • Inpatient care and recovery
    • Nurse consultations
    • Laboratory work
    • Client education and support

      The practice offers a broad caseload, including routine procedures and laparoscopic (keyhole) surgery, providing excellent opportunities to utilise and develop your clinical skills.

      The Practice

      This is a newly established purpose-built small animal clinic with a growing and loyal client base. The practice is fully equipped to deliver high-quality veterinary care and offers a supportive, close-knit team environment.

      • 2 Veterinary Surgeons
      • 2 Registered Veterinary Nurses

        The team is easy-going, collaborative and values a practical, positive attitude. Everyone works together and supports one another to ensure excellent patient and client care.

        Candidate Requirements

        • RCVS Registered Veterinary Nurse
        • Confident with general nursing duties
        • Team-oriented with a proactive attitude
        • Friendly, reliable and committed to excellent patient care
