The Role
We are a fast-growing renewable energy company helping businesses across the UK
reduce energy costs and carbon emissions through innovative solutions, including
solar PV, battery storage, and energy-efficient systems. We're looking for an
experienced Commercial Sales Executive with a strong background in renewables,
ideally within the non-domestic (B2B) sector.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a driven individual who thrives on winning
new business, building relationships, and delivering tailored energy solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Identify, target, and secure new commercial (B2B) business opportunities across the UK
Manage the full sales lifecycle from prospecting and qualification
through to contract negotiation and close
Conduct client meetings, site visits, and pre-sales surveys to assess
suitability for renewable solutions
Develop and present tailored proposals, including system recommendations
and commercial benefits
Build and maintain long-term relationships with business clients,
consultants, and key decision-makers
Maintain a strong and accurate sales pipeline, ensuring regular
follow-ups and consistent conversion of leads
Deliver against agreed sales targets, revenue, and margin objectives
Work closely with technical and delivery teams to ensure accurate design
and smooth project handover
Provide clients with clear guidance on system performance, cost savings,
and ROI/payback
Stay up to date with renewable technologies, funding schemes, and market
developments
Represent the business at networking events, exhibitions, and industry
meetings
Provide regular forecasting, reporting, and pipeline updates to senior
management
About You
Proven experience in sales (ideally renewables or energy sector)
Strong B2B / commercial sales background (preferred)
Confident communicator with a consultative sales approach
Self-motivated and target-driven
Full UK driving licence and flexibility to travel
