Location: Head Office/Home Based (this role will be based in our Cardiff Head Office a minimum of 2 days a week)

Salary: £18,505.76 (£23,132.20 FTE)

Weekly Working Hours: 28 hours a week

Work as an Administrator in our Fundraising & Supporter Engagement Team!

Do you have strong administration skills? Are you looking for a new and exciting challenge? Can you see yourself working with and supporting people across Wales affected by Cancer?

We’ve an exciting opportunity as an Administrator, within our Fundraising and Supporter Engagement team, to help support with tasks that keep the wheels moving every day for Us.

It’s a busy admin role but one where you really see the impact your work has for people affected by cancer. It’s fun, you learn lots, and have a voice too, so you and the team develop, grow and we always do things bigger and better.

Undertaking daily office tasks such as answering the phone and responding to emails, meeting and greeting visitors, managing data entry on our systems, printing, packing and assisting with the post and other office support, will be the building blocks of your role, while also engaging with supporters, building relationships and completing administration tasks that support the wider Fundraising and Supporter Engagement team.

This role offers the opportunity to engage with our supporters and represent us as at our events, from Marathons to our famous Lovelights, you’ll get out and about and foster supporter relationships along the way.

To be great in this role you’ll

Have admin and IT capabilities to run database reports and follow admin processes
Produce quality work on time – you’re careful and double check your work, manage your own time independently and are results focused to get a job done well within a deadline
Be flexible in your approach to working – your attitude’s good when there’s pressure to deliver and you adapt to the flow of work recognising where you need to change your focus
Be collaborative, team and people focused – you know how to deliver great customer service. You work well with your colleagues to help them, listen to others’ ideas and put forward your own ones and demonstrate how you treat customers, so they feel valued
Have a positive attitude and be a solution solver and look for the best options in any situation or challenge things appropriately when coming up with a new ideas or have a suggestion
Be flexible and pro-active and willing to support fundraising events, with the flexibility to increase availability during peak campaigns
