Start Date: ASAP

We are currently seeking a dedicated and resilient SEMH Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in Harpurhey on a full-time, long-term basis starting ASAP.

This role is ideal for someone with experience supporting children with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs and who is passionate about making a positive impact in the classroom.

The Role:
- Supporting pupils with SEMH needs on a 1:1 and small group basis
- Helping to manage behaviour and support emotional regulation
- Building positive relationships with pupils, staff and parents
- Assisting the class teacher in creating a safe and engaging learning environment
- Encouraging pupil confidence, independence and participation

The Ideal Candidate:
- Experience working with children with SEMH, behavioural needs or additional needs
- Calm, patient and resilient approach
- Strong behaviour management skills
- Team player with excellent communication skills
- Previous school or support work experience is desirable
