About the Role
As a Healthcare Assistant, you will play a vital role in delivering compassionate and personalised care to residents throughout the night, ensuring their dignity, independence, comfort and wellbeing are maintained at all times.
Key Responsibilities
Provide tailored care to meet individual resident needs
Support with personal care, dressing, mobility and daily living tasks
Assist with meals, snacks and monitor food and fluid intake
Engage residents with meaningful interaction and emotional support
Follow and understand individual care plans
Maintain accurate records and report any changes in residents’ conditions
Support skin care and pressure area management
Promote residents’ safety, comfort and dignity at all times
What We’re Looking For
A genuine passion for delivering high-quality care
SVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care (or working towards) preferred
Understanding of National Care Standards and Codes of Conduct
SSSC Registration (or willingness to register)
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
A professional, caring, and compassionate approach
Commitment to confidentiality and resident wellbeing
