Summary
This will consist of providing five fixed sessions of service support in gastroenterology at Heartlands Hospital. The nature of the sessions (either clinics or endoscopy) will be dependent upon the needs of the clinical service. A small contribution to the inpatient gastroenterology service activity may also be required. This is a full-time job plan (40-hour week) will be finalised on appointment in keeping with the service needs, comprising a high quality research project and on-call. A sample job plan is given below but may be subject to change. Clinical and on call sessions will be based at Birmingham Heartlands Hospital.
