Crynodeb
This role is responsible for the slaughter and processing of livestock in a fast-paced production line. This role requires to adhere to strict health and safety and hygiene protocols to ensure the quality assurance of meat products.
Key Responsibilities:
• Safely and efficiently slaughter and process cattle to specification
• Operating and maintaining slaughterhouse machinery and equipment
• Inspecting met for quality and reporting any issues
• Remove contamination and defects from carcass
• Achieving maximum yields and minimizing waste, ensuring quality standards are maintained and waste materials are properly disposed
• Handling animals in a human and ethical manner
• Moving product around the department
• Ensuring all relevant records and paperwork are accurately maintained
• Maintain a clean and organised work environment
• Assist with other tasks as needed, collaborate with all other departments to
ensure smooth operations
