Behaviour Mentor - South East London - September Start - Full Time - £110-£130 per day
We are currently recruiting for a confident and resilient Behaviour Mentor to join a supportive school based in South East London for a September start.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about supporting young people with social, emotional, and behavioural needs. The school is looking for a strong role model who can build positive relationships, manage challenging behaviour, and help pupils re-engage with education.
The role would suit someone with experience in schools, youth work, mentoring, sports coaching, residential support, SEMH, PRU, or alternative provision settings.
The Role:
- Supporting pupils with SEMH, ADHD, ASD, challenging behaviour, and emotional regulation needs
- Working 1:1 and in small groups to improve confidence, engagement, and behaviour
- Helping students stay focused and involved in lessons
- Supporting behaviour management using calm and consistent strategies
- Building strong relationships with pupils, staff, and families
- Supporting pupils during transitions, break times, and structured activities
- Working alongside teachers, SENCOs, pastoral teams, and external professionals
The Ideal Candidate Will:
- Have experience supporting young people with behaviour or SEMH needs
- Be confident, calm, and resilient in challenging situations
- Have strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Be able to act as a positive role model
- Have a genuine passion for helping vulnerable pupils succeed
- Be reliable, proactive, and able to use their own initiative
The Role Offers:
- £100-£117 per day
- Full-time long-term role
- September start
