Summary
Reporting to: ACAT Estates Lead
Mentor: School Premises Manager Start Date: September 2026
Working Hours: 36 hours per week working core school hours (8am-4pm). Flexibility in hours required for school events. 1 day per week will include college release time as required
Apprenticeship: 15 months fixed-term contract with the opportunity of a permanent role upon completion of the courseSalary: £20,366 fte We are looking to recruit a committed and dynamic Site & Facilities Assistant Apprentice who will have a positive impact on the collaboration of schools as we continue to work together to share costs and provide more opportunities for our children.

You will be given training and fully supported in your role via the Estates team as well as directly within each school by the Premises staff.
At the end of the apprenticeship, you will receive a recognised Level 2 Certificate in Facilities Services Principles and achieve the Level 2 Facilities Services Operative Apprenticeship. Upon the successful completion of Level 2, there may be the opportunity for a permanent role and future development to Level 3 and 4 could be available for the right candidate.
