Premises Assistant responsible for keyholding, security, maintenance, room setup and supporting centre users. Duties include preparing rooms, carrying out safety checks, minor repairs, managing alarms and building access, maintaining clean and safe premises, and assisting groups using the centre. Provides caretaker cover when required and supports the Project Development Manager in ensuring the building operates efficiently and safely. Must follow health and safety, safeguarding and confidentiality procedures, present a professional and approachable manner, and participate in relevant training including first aid and health and safety.
This role involves regular manual handling activities, including the lifting and movement of tables, chairs, and other equipment. Applicants should therefore be capable of carrying out duties of a physically demanding nature safely and effectively.
