Summary
We are looking to appoint a dedicated and passionate SEMH teaching assistant to join us. We are looking for someone who is caring, flexible and dedicated to ensuring that all children realise their full potential in all areas of curriculum and school life.

We are looking for a teaching assistant who:
• Can support a named pupil on a 1:1 basis with emotional and behavioural needs by building trusting relationships and providing emotional support.
• Provide support and complement the work of the class teacher by supporting class work, the environment and personal care.
• Provide social, welfare, emotional and behavioural support.
• Can create a calm structured environment to help them access the curriculum
• Puts children at the forefront and supports our inclusive, supportive ethos
• Can work as part of a team
• Can work under the direct instruction of teaching staff, both in the classroom and in small groups or on a 1:1 basis to support access to learning for pupils including those identified as having severe learning difficulties and those with challenging behaviour, in a range of different learning situations and settings and provide support to the teacher in the management of pupils and the classroom.If you are passionate about supporting young children to thrive and want to be part of a strong, inclusive team, we would love to hear from you.
