About the Role
We are looking for a talented and dedicated Curry Chef to join our kitchen team in Peterborough. In this role, you will specialise in preparing authentic Indian curry dishes. You will play a key part in delivering rich, genuine flavours while maintaining high standards of food safety and kitchen organisation.
Key Responsibilities
-Prepare and cook a variety of authentic Indian curries, from classic recipes to speciality dishes.
-Ensure consistency, taste, and presentation in every curry.
-Monitor ingredient freshness, portion control, and stock levels.
-Follow UK food safety and hygiene regulations at all times.
-Keep the kitchen clean, safe, and efficient.
-Assist with curry menu development and specials when required.
Requirements
-Proven experience as a Curry Chef with strong knowledge of Indian curry preparation.
-Understanding of traditional spices, cooking techniques, and regional curry styles.
-Awareness of food hygiene and safety practices in a professional kitchen.
-Relevant culinary training or qualifications are beneficial but not essential.
-Ability to work well under pressure in a busy kitchen environment.
-Good teamwork and communication skills.
-Food Hygiene Certificate Level 2 or 3 (or willingness to obtain).
-Right to work in the UK.
