What skills and experience we're looking for
The Governors are looking to appoint a highly enthusiastic and dedicated teacher for a permanent part time role. This position could be a KS1 or KS2 post depending on the candidate. East Coker Primary School is a seven-class rural school with a very supportive and friendly community. We aim to provide our children with a good balance of academic and wider experiences to grow into well-rounded, compassionate and confident young people with a strong sense of community. We strongly value creativity, collaboration and independence and our pupils are encouraged to take an active part in our school.
The successful candidate will:
• Will be fully committed to our school ethos
• Be a highly effective practitioner and be able to plan and deliver Quality First Teaching
• Have the ability to work as part of a friendly, supportive team and contribute to all aspects of school life.
• Demonstrate high expectations of pupils' attainment, behaviour and personal development.
