Are you a Registered Veterinary Nurse with a passion for emergency and critical care? This is an exciting opportunity to join a busy and well-equipped 24-hour veterinary hospital, working alongside a dedicated night veterinary surgeon to deliver exceptional overnight care.

This part-time permanent role offers an excellent work-life balance with a 7 nights on / 7 nights off rota, making it ideal for an RVN who enjoys the pace and challenge of hospital-based nursing while benefiting from substantial time off.

The Role

As a Night Registered Veterinary Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality overnight care to hospitalised patients and assisting with emergency and surgical cases.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Monitoring and caring for inpatients overnight
  • Supporting emergency and urgent care cases
  • Anaesthesia monitoring and surgical assistance
  • Managing admissions and discharges
  • Administering medications and treatments
  • Maintaining detailed patient records
  • Delivering exceptional client communication and support
  • Working closely with the night veterinary surgeon

    This role offers excellent exposure to both medical and surgical nursing in a dynamic hospital setting.

    Hours & Work Pattern

    • Part-time permanent position
    • 7 nights on / 7 nights off rolling rota
