You will be joining a department that promotes imaginative learning and practical engagement, with opportunities to contribute to displays, projects, and wider school events. This is a great opportunity to inspire students and bring creativity into the classroom.
What the role involves:
Planning and delivering engaging Art lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4
Encouraging creativity through a range of artistic techniques and media
Supporting students in developing their skills in drawing, painting, and design
Preparing pupils for coursework and GCSE Art where applicable
Organising classroom displays and contributing to school exhibitions
Managing classroom behaviour in a positive and structured way
What you’ll need:
QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)
Experience teaching Art in a UK secondary school
Strong knowledge of different artistic techniques and materials
Ability to inspire creativity and engagement in students
Good classroom management and organisational skills
A commitment to safeguarding and student wellbeing
