About the Role

RecruitED People are currently recruiting passionate and skilled Speech and Language Therapists to support children and young people across SEN schools, specialist provisions and mainstream educational settings throughout Birmingham and the West Midlands.

This role involves supporting students with speech, language and communication needs (SLCN), helping them to develop confidence, communication skills and independence both inside and outside of the classroom environment.

You will work collaboratively with education staff, parents and external professionals to deliver targeted interventions and personalised support strategies that positively impact student progress and wellbeing.

Because education now requires teachers to differentiate lessons, regulate behaviour, support trauma, manage attendance and somehow also become communication specialists overnight. The system survives largely because specialist staff quietly hold the entire structure together with coloured visuals and patience bordering on supernatural.
