We are seeking a passionate, caring, and motivated Early Years Teacher to join our vibrant primary school community. This is an exciting opportunity to inspire young learners at the very start of their educational journey, supporting them to aspire, believe, persevere and achieve. The post is suitable for Early Career and experienced teachers.
About the Role
As an Early Years Teacher, you will play a key role in creating a nurturing and stimulating learning environment where children can thrive. You will:
• plan and deliver engaging, stimulating, and age-appropriate activities in line with the EYFS framework
• observe, assess and monitor children’s development to inform and create tailored learning pathways
• foster a safe, inclusive and supportive classroom environment where every child feels valued
• build strong, positive partnerships with parents and carers to support each child’s development
• maintain the highest standards of safeguarding, welfare and wellbeing at all times
About You
We are looking for someone who:
• is fun, caring and enthusiastic, with a genuine love for working with young children
• is passionate about Early Years education and committed to inspiring lifelong learning
• is a motivating and creative practitioner who can engage and support all learners
• is an excellent communicator, able to build strong relationships with children, colleague and families

Children in Key Stage 2 attend a residential visit every year and all of our children benefit from a range of regular, outdoor learning experiences at school including working in our fantastic wildlife area. Children are very positive about these visits and experiences and they give our children lifelong memories of their time at Swain House Primary School.
Swain House Primary School also has a Resourced Provision for Deaf Children. These children are integrated fully into the life of the school and are valued members of the school community.
