HGV Class 1 Driver
Location: Widnes, WA8 area
Pay: £15.26 per hour + overtime rates
Full-time | Monday to Friday
Smart Solutions are currently recruiting for an experienced HGV Class 1 Driver to join our client based in Widnes, operating Artic Walking Floor trailers.

The Role
Operating Class 1 HGV vehicles and Artic Walking Floor trailers
Completing collections and deliveries safely and efficiently
Conducting daily vehicle checks and reporting any defects
Maintaining accurate digital tachograph records
Ensuring compliance with Driver Hours and Working Time regulations
Providing professional customer service at collection and delivery points
Working Hours
40 hours per week
Monday to Friday
Additional shifts and overtime available as required
Pay Rates
£15.26 per hour basic rate
Overtime after 40 hours paid at 1.25x
Saturdays paid at 1.5x
Bank Holidays paid at 2x
Requirements
Valid UK HGV Class 1 licence
Valid CPC qualification
Digital Tachograph card
Minimum 2 years Class 1 driving experience
Experience using Walking Floor / Moving Floor trailers is highly advantageous
Strong communication skills and professional attitude
