We are currently recruiting for an experienced and motivated Team Manager to join a well-established supported living service in Lancashire.
This is an excellent opportunity for a senior support worker or existing care manager looking to progress their career within a rewarding and person-centred environment. The successful candidate will play a key role in leading a dedicated team and ensuring high-quality support is delivered to individuals with learning disabilities and mental health needs.
The Role
As Team Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the service, ensuring outstanding levels of care and support are consistently maintained. You will lead by example, support and develop staff, and promote a positive and inclusive culture throughout the service.
Key responsibilities include:
Managing the daily operations of the supported living service
Leading, supervising, and supporting frontline staff
Ensuring high standards of person-centred care
Managing service contracts and compliance requirements
Coordinating property and maintenance needs
Supporting individuals with complex needs to achieve positive outcomes
Participating in on-call duties as required
About You
We are looking for someone with strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a genuine passion for delivering high-quality social care services.
The ideal candidate will have:
Previous experience within a management role in care settings
At least 2 years’ experience working within social care
Experience supporting individuals with complex needs
A values-led and inclusive management approach
The ability to motivate and develop a team
Strong organisational and problem-solving skills
A proactive and adaptable attitude
Requirements
NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care or equivalent qualification
Full UK Driving Licence
Right to work in the UK
Working Hours
Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 5:00pm
