We are seeking a skilled and motivated Internal Accountant to join our growing mechanical services team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in accuracy, organisation, and continuous improvement.
The successful candidate will have experience in a similar role and be fully proficient in Sage accounting software, Excel, and Microsoft Office applications. Experience in HR processes would be advantageous.
We’re looking for someone who is confident, proactive, and detail-oriented, with a strong work ethic and a positive, “can-do” attitude.
Key Responsibilities (including but not limited to):
Reconciliation of financial data
Processing sales and purchase invoices
Managing supplier payments
Credit control and cash flow monitoring
Liaising with internal departments
Maintaining accurate records across internal systems
Payroll administration and HR support
Producing monthly financial reports
Managing CIS (Construction Industry Scheme) requirements
Requirements:
Relevant accounting qualifications
Previous experience in a similar role
Strong organisational and communication skills
