This is an exciting opportunity for someone who takes pride in maintaining high standards and enjoys working in a varied and hands-on role.Working alongside our School Business Manager and Headteacher, you will help ensure our school remains a safe, clean and well-maintained environment for pupils, staff and visitors.The Role:Key responsibilities will include:Maintaining the school buildings and grounds to a high standardCarrying out minor repairs and general maintenance tasksSupporting health and safety compliance and routine site checksSupervising and supporting a small team of cleaning staffCleaning a designated area of the school each dayOrdering and monitoring cleaning and hygiene suppliesLiaising with contractors and supporting site projectsAssisting with site security and ensuring a safe environment for all We Are Looking For Someone who:Has experience in a premises, caretaking, facilities or maintenance roleHas practical DIY and repair skillsUnderstands health and safety requirements and compliance proceduresCan work independently and use their initiativeHas good organisational and communication skillsIs confident using IT systems for record keeping and communicationIs flexible, dependable and committed to maintaining high standardsEnjoys being part of a school community and supporting children's wellbeingKnowledge of areas such as COSHH, Fire Safety, Legionella Management, Manual Handling and Working at Height would be advantageous, although training can be provided for the right candidate.Grade 4 (Points 7–10)- Commencing point 8.0
