As a Restaurant Chef de Partie in our Citizens Services team, you’ll support the delivery of a high-quality dining experience at Lilleshall National Sports Centre, preparing food at scale while maintaining excellent standards and consistency.
This is a hands-on role where your work has real impact – whether you’re preparing meals for small groups or large events of up to 350 guests. You’ll play a key part in creating positive experiences for visitors, athletes, and communities, helping us deliver a service that people can trust and take pride in.
What you’ll do as a Chef de Partie
You’ll be entrusted to:
· Prepare and cook meals as part of a team in a high-volume catering environment, serving up to 350 people.
Prepare and cook dishes in line with restaurant standards and specifications
Ensure all food is produced to required quality, safety, and presentation standards
Follow and uphold all hygiene procedures, including temperature checks, food storage, and record keeping
Maintain a strong working knowledge of menus and seasonal ingredients
Support kitchen operations, including delegating and completing cleaning schedules
Work flexibly across shifts to support restaurant service, functions, and events

Food safety knowledge or qualifications and some kitchen experience
Experience working in table d’hôte or similar service environments
Confidence ordering stock and using basic computer systems
Understanding of seasonality and menu planning
