The Headteacher and Governing Body are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and well-motivated individual as a Play Leader- Midday Supervisor. The successful candidate will have excellent interpersonal skills, will be creative, positive and kind.
We are looking for a Play Leader who:
• will lead play activities for all pupils during lunchtimes
• will supervise children to ensure safety
• can help children eating their school dinner or packed lunch
• can supervise children in their classes during inclement weather
• will manage children’s behaviour positively in line with school policy
• is able to follow the school’s safeguarding policy and procedures

This salary is subject to the Living Wage supplement wef 1st April 2026 which brings pay rates up to £13.45 per hour (scp 2 - 5). This supplement will be reviewed thereafter annually in April. Cardiff Council reserves the right to make any changes to, or removal of, the Living Wage supplement. This post is subject to Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service Check.
