Job description
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Occupational Therapy Practitioner to cover a one-year maternity leave for the Lead Practitioner role in the West Locality Occupational Therapy Team.
This long-term complex team works primarily on major adaptations via the Disabled Facilities Grant pathway and the assessment and provision of complex equipment, including manual handling solutions, with a focus on supporting service users to remain safe and independent at home.
The role includes day-to-day team leadership, supervision of up to three staff, delivery of complex Care Act assessments, and ensuring professional standards and best practice are maintained.
Applicants must be HCPC-registered Occupational Therapists with strong experience in complex assessments, relevant legislation (Care Act, MCA, DFG), supervision, and manual handling.
