Long Term Futures is seeking a Reception Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in Northfield. This role involves working 1:1 with a child with SEMH and behavioural needs, alongside supporting whole-class learning, delivering small group interventions, and leading phonics sessions using Little Wandle and other phonics programmes.

This is a long-term opportunity until the end of the academic year, with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities:
- Supporting a pupil 1:1 with SEMH and behavioural needs
- Supporting whole-class teaching and learning
- Delivering targeted small group interventions
- Leading phonics sessions (Little Wandle and other phonics programmes)
- Supporting pupils with additional needs, including SEN

What the School is Looking For:
- Qualifications: Level 2 or 3 Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools (or equivalent)
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year working in a primary setting
- Skills: Experience supporting SEMH and behaviour, delivering phonics and leading interventions
- Knowledge: Strong understanding of the EYFS curriculum & phonics programmes (desirable)
