About the role: Where finance meets people

This Finance Business Partner role sits within a Scotland based housing organisation where the focus isn't just on producing numbers, but on helping teams understand and use them.


You will work closely with a range of stakeholders across the business, supporting services by providing clear, practical financial insight that supports day-to-day decisions and long-term planning.

What you'll be doing
  • Produce monthly management accounts with clear variance analysis
  • Work directly with budget holders and service managers
  • Explain financial performance across areas such as income, staffing, and service costs
  • Support budgeting and forecasting processes
  • Help identify trends and support decision-making across teams
  • Present financial information to groups of stakeholders across the organisation
  • Build strong working relationships with both finance and non-finance colleagues
Who we're looking for

Must have:

  • Experience producing management accounts and financial reports
  • Strong communication skills and ability to explain finance clearly
  • Confidence working with and presenting to non-finance stakeholders
  • Experience working in a team-based, collaborative environment

Nice to have:

  • Experience in housing or a regulated environment
  • Exposure to business partnering or stakeholder-focused roles
  • Qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA, or similar) or working towards
