The function of the Corporate Estates Support Officer sits within the Corporate Estates Management Team (CEM) within a wider Estates. The DVSA Estate is made up of a diverse portfolio of around 500 leased and freehold properties across Great Britain.
The purpose of the Corporate Estates Support Officer role is to deliver and maintain an effective and efficient estates portfolio by supporting the financial needs of Corporate and Operational Business Functions.
The post holder will support work to maintain agreed works, payments and management of our current estate portfolio to the needs of the agency.
The role will be required to engagement with internal stakeholders (teams within Estates, Finance, Commercial, Operations and Enforcement) and external stakeholders (Landlords and Service Providers).

Your responsibilities will include, but aren’t limited to:
- Provide advice, support, and challenge to internal stakeholders on payment account management and general estates matter issues.
- Provide clear and specific instructions through SAP financial and contract management to external stakeholders and service providers.
- Provide practical and cost-effective recommendations to resolve SAP issues with stakeholders and service providers.
- Ensuring the timely and correct payment of service charges, utility bills, casual hire and insurance for Estates landlords' costs as per lease obligations
- Maintaining the Estates Finance database with service charge, rates and insurance payments for all sites
- Liaising with relevant internal and external stakeholder to ensure needs are met.
- Maintain good relations and communications with all members of the team and respond politely and in a timely fashion to internal and external
- Work closely with the Finance teams to manage landlord and tenant expectations and maintain and improve working relationships with those key stakeholders.
