We are currently recruiting confident and reliable Cover Supervisors to support secondary schools across Birmingham.

The Role

As a Cover Supervisor, you will supervise whole classes during the short-term absence of teaching staff, ensuring students remain on task and classroom behaviour is managed effectively.

Key Responsibilities
Deliver pre-set lesson work in the absence of the teacher
Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies
Ensure pupils remain engaged and focused on learning
Report back to teaching staff regarding lesson progress and behaviour
Support the safeguarding and wellbeing of pupils at all times
Requirements
Experience working with young people is desirable
Strong communication and behaviour management skills
Ability to remain calm, professional, and adaptable
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one
Right to work in the UK
A passion for supporting education and young people
