Our vision is to deliver top-quality patient care, excellent education, and world-class research.
We provide first-class acute and specialist services across eight sites:

It has world class support services including critical care, imaging, nuclear medicine and pathology.
We are committed to sustainability and have pledged to become a carbon net zero health service, embedding sustainable practice throughout UCLH. We have set an ambitious target of net zero for our direct emissions by 2031 and indirect emissions by 2040.

For the full Person Specification and more information regarding the main responsibilities of this role, please refer to the attached Job Description.

Location: University College Hospital with rotation through Westmoreland Street Hospital, Grafton Way Building, and Macmillan Cancer Centre.

As we offer a wide range of services, this is an excellent opportunity to learn new clinical skills and broaden your current skill base whilst working in a supportive team.
As a department, we are very supportive of role development; currently we have radiographers reporting in Axial/Appendicular, Chest and Abdominal radiographs. Radiographers are also inserting PICC lines; undertaking Barium Swallow lists and running the CT Colonography lists across the service.

We are looking to recruit radiographers with sophisticated communication skills and a patient-centred approach. You will need to have extensive general radiographic experience, and CT experience is desirable. You are required to hold demonstrable teaching abilities as you will be working with under-graduates & junior staff.

The successful candidates will gain experience in a wide range of general radiography including essential participation of the OOH rota and the CT extended week rota with rotation through other Trust satellite units including the Macmillan Cancer Centre, Westmoreland street hospital and the newly opened Grafton Way Hospital.
