A supportive and inclusive school in Birmingham is seeking a motivated and compassionate Psychology graduate to join its team as a Learning Support Assistant from September 2026.

This is an excellent opportunity for a final year psychology graduate who is passionate about child development, mental health, and supporting students with additional needs. The role would particularly suit someone considering a future career in Educational Psychology, Teaching, SEN support, or Speech and Language Therapy.

What's the role?

As a Graduate Psychology Learning Support Assistant, you will:

Support pupils on a 1:1 basis and in small groups
Assist students with SEND, SEMH, autism, ADHD, or additional learning needs
Help create a positive, safe, and engaging learning environment
Work closely with teachers and pastoral staff to support pupil progress and wellbeing
Encourage students' confidence, independence, and social development
Build strong and positive relationships with pupils and staff

What are we looking for?

- Recent Psychology graduate with a strong academic background- 1st or 2.1 degrees required

- Matching A Level and GCSEs

- Patient, empathetic, and resilient with excellent communication skills.

- Some experience in a school, tutoring, or care setting (preferred but not essential).
