Our client urgently requires a Stainless Steel Fabrication/ TIG Welder for a local company based in Peterborough.
Hours are Monday to Friday 06.00-15.00pm.
Key Requirements for the job role:
* Sound knowledge of manual and mechanical welding practices.
* Good knowledge of reading mechanical layout drawings and schematics.
* Strong oral and communication abilities.
* Excellent attention to detail.
* Customer focused and prepared to go the extra mile.
* Must show leadership qualities.
* All candidates must be punctual and reliable.
Skills required for this job -
* Experience in Stainless steel TIG Welding is essential for this role.
* Be able to work well in a team environment.
* A detail-orientated and methodical approach.
* Experience with various welding equipment.
* Ability to use electrical or manual tools.
* Understanding of technical documents and drawings.
* Manual skills and a steady hand.
* A good level of fitness and resilience.
* Knowledge of basic safety standards and willingness to use protective clothing.
This is a temporary role to cover a rush of orders for three months.
