Summary

We are looking for a skilled Senior Frontend Developer with strong experience in TypeScript and React Native to join our development team. In this role, you will build scalable, high-performance web applications and work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver outstanding user experiences.

This is initially a six-month contract with potential for extension. The role is hybrid, requiring one day per week in the London office, and is full-time at 40 hours per week.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain scalable, responsive applications using React.js, React Native, and TypeScript

  • Work closely with UX/UI designers to deliver intuitive and engaging interfaces

  • Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following best practices

  • Optimise applications for performance and scalability

  • Participate in code reviews to ensure high development standards

  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues across development and production environments

  • Contribute to architectural decisions and collaborate on overall application design

  • Ensure application security and scalability through best development practices

  • Keep up to date with emerging technologies and recommend new tools and libraries where appropriate

Skills & Experience Required:

  • Proven commercial experience with React.js, React Native, and TypeScript

  • Strong knowledge of modern front-end technologies and frameworks

  • Experience with state management libraries such as Redux, Recoil, or similar

  • Familiarity with RESTful APIs and third-party integrations

  • Experience using version control systems, particularly Git

  • Solid understanding of HTML, CSS, and responsive design principles

  • Strong debugging and performance optimisation skills

  • Ability to produce clean, modular, and well-documented code

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
