About the Role

We are looking to recruit a Quality and Contract Officer whose role is to:

  • Monitor service providers and contractual arrangements and take action to address performance issues.
  • Collaborate with providers of adult social care services to improve practice and performance so people have better outcomes.
  • Identify, risk assess and manage potential safeguarding, quality and compliance issues.
  • Seek feedback from people who use the service, their carers and stakeholders on the services they have received.

About You

To apply for this post, you must be able to evidence in your application how you meet the following criteria:

  • NVQ level 4 qualification in a relevant subject or equivalent level of relevant experience.
  • Experience and knowledge of providing social care or health services
  • Experience of preparing written and financial report
  • Understanding of risk management at an operational level
  • Ability to recognise good performance and address poor performance collaboratively using the providers knowledge and expertise to develop an outcome-based solution.
  • Experience of successfully managing relationships with internal / external colleagues and partners
  • Self-motivated and the ability to meet demanding timescales and work under pressure.
