Radyr Comprehensive School is seeking to appoint a dedicated and enthusiastic Level 2Teaching Assistant to support our ALN (Additional Learning Needs) and Pastoral teams in delivering both emotional and academic interventions.
This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual who is passionate about supporting young people and helping them to achieve their full potential. Experience in training, delivering, and monitoring emotional intervention programmes would be highly advantageous.31 hours per week, 39 weeks per year (term time only)1-year temporary contract in the first instance.Key Responsibilities
• Work closely with the ALN and Pastoral teams to identify pupils who would benefit from targeted support
• Coordinate and manage the logistics of intervention group timetables
• Liaise effectively with teaching staff to support pupil progress
• Plan, deliver, and review a range of emotional and academic interventions
• Monitor outcomes and provide structured feedback to relevant staff
