Paragon Education is recruiting an experienced and driven Year 6 Teacher to join a supportive primary school in Worcester. The school is committed to achieving strong outcomes while maintaining a positive and structured learning environment for pupils approaching the end of Key Stage 2.
You will be responsible for preparing pupils for SATs, supporting their transition to secondary school, and helping them build confidence in their final year of primary education. The school offers a collaborative team and leadership that understands the demands of Year 6 teaching.
What the role involves:
Planning and delivering targeted lessons aligned with the Year 6 curriculum
Preparing pupils for SATs through structured teaching and revision strategies
Identifying gaps in learning and providing focused interventions
Monitoring progress and using data to inform teaching decisions
Creating a calm, focused, and supportive classroom environment
Supporting pupils’ confidence and readiness for secondary school
What you’ll need:
QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)
Experience teaching in Upper Key Stage 2, ideally Year 6
Strong understanding of SATs preparation and assessment
Effective classroom and behaviour management skills
Ability to motivate and support pupils under pressure
A commitment to safeguarding and promoting pupil wellbeing
