The RoleAs a Specialist Grade Doctor, you will be a senior clinical decision maker at the hospital front door, leading the assessment, diagnosis and treatment of acute medical patients across: The 24 bedded Acute Medical Assessment Unit (AMAU) Same Day Emergency Care (SDEC) Minor Injuries Unit (MIU) Hot specialty clinics, supporting admission avoidance and rapid follow up You will play a key role in the development of a new Urgent Care Centre, planned to open in 2026, and contribute to delivering a comprehensive 7 day Acute Medicine service across Prince Philip Hospital and the wider Health Board.
