Due to continued growth, they’re now looking to bring in a Transport Planner to play a key role in their operation.The RoleReporting into the Transport Manager, you’ll be responsible for planning and coordinating efficient, compliant, and cost-effective transport operations.You’ll play a hands-on role in:· Planning daily transport schedules and delivery routes· Managing drivers, including daily debriefs and performance· Coordinating fleet and subcontractors to meet customer demand· Driving operational efficiency and continuous improvement· Ensuring full compliance with driver hours, tachograph, and O-Licence regulations· Supporting Health text-indent: -18pt;">· Working with internal systems including TMS and WMSWhat We’re Looking For· Previous experience in a Transport / Traffic Planner role· Strong knowledge of transport operations, compliance, and driver management· Experience working with subcontractors and cost control· Comfortable using transport systems + Microsoft Office· Highly organised, able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment· Strong communication skills with the ability to build relationships across teams· O-Licence and Working Time Directive experience is preferred but not essential.Why Apply?· Join a stable, growing logistics business with a strong reputation· Be part of a supportive, team-focused environment· Take on a varied, hands-on role with real responsibility· Opportunity to develop and progress your career in transport
