Crynodeb
To support the staff working in all areas of clinical practice to increase skills and knowledge. To conduct and facilitate in-house teaching for the staff relating to their speciality. Support the continuing professional development programme by planning the educational needs of the directorate for TNA and appraisals. Input to a database to hold records of all education and training delivered to staff. Support the Education and skills strategy for the department. Undertaking in situ simulation with regards to pathways and safety incidents and have knowledge of writing scenarios and using mannequins and IT equipment and also accurate feedback and debrief. Working alongside the Trust PEFs for preceptorship to ensure the newly Qualified Nurses are supported and trained competently to provide the best care possible. Undertaking Human Factors training within the care group Supporting evidence of education by providing monthly reports to the matrons and ADNs for UEC and updating the database for recording training.
